Well, there are obviously more differences, so we will help you a little bit:
This classic Fender came in for a service with a request to adjust the electronics and service the fretboard.
Regarding the fretboard, we followed our standard procedure - we replaced the frets with a special hard steel fret wire, which we usually use for this type of repair.
Next up were the electronics and the request to remove one pickup. And why not do it in a way that makes the result of the work visible to the naked eye?
A transparent pickguard, which we used to replace the factory original, served this purpose. You can now see the copper shielding, the electronic wiring diagram, and the space where another pickup was previously located, which was removed at the owner's request.
Everything, of course, was done with his approval - and although he might not have been able to fully imagine the final effect when this modification was proposed, and it took him a while to get used to it, he was overall very satisfied with the service and the new sound the guitar gained after this modification.
