2. Order and Conclusion of the Purchase Contract
1. The buyer places an order by adding goods to the electronic shopping cart and submitting the completed order form on aurainstruments.com.
2. Submitting an order constitutes a binding proposal by the buyer to enter into a purchase contract under these Terms and Conditions.
3. The purchase contract is concluded upon receipt of an automated electronic order confirmation sent by the seller to the buyer's email address.
4. The seller reserves the right to contact the buyer to verify order details or to cancel the order if the ordered goods cannot be manufactured or supplied, or in the case of an obvious pricing error.
3. Prices and Payment Methods
1. All product prices listed on aurainstruments.com are stated in Euros (EUR) and are final (seller is a non-VAT payer).
2. Prices do not include delivery costs, which are explicitly listed in the shopping cart prior to order submission.
3. The seller accepts the following payment methods:
- Advance payment via bank transfer to the seller's account.
- Online payment cards and electronic payment gateways supported at checkout.
- Cash on delivery (where applicable and available for selected shipping methods).
4. When advance payment is selected, the goods are dispatched only after the full amount is credited to the seller's bank account.
4. Delivery Terms and Shipping
1. Estimated delivery times within Slovakia range from 3 to 12 working days after dispatch, depending on item availability and custom fabrication.
2. International shipping delivery times depend on destination and carrier schedules (typically 3 to 14 working days after dispatch).
3. Shipments are delivered via Slovak Post (Slovenská pošta) or commercial courier services (e.g., DPD).
4. Upon delivery, the buyer is advised to inspect the consignment packaging. If obvious damage to the packaging is identified, the buyer should file a damage record with the carrier or refuse acceptance.
5. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Return Policy)
1. Pursuant to Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection, a consumer buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the date of receiving the goods.
2. Exemptions from Withdrawal Right: Pursuant to applicable legislation, the consumer cannot withdraw from a contract for the supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized custom-built instruments.
3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the buyer must notify the seller in writing via email at info@aurainstruments.com before the 14-day period expires.
4. The buyer must send back the goods complete, undamaged, unused, and preferably in original packaging no later than 14 days from the date of withdrawal notification.
5. The seller shall reimburse all payments received from the buyer, including initial standard shipping costs, within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice or proof of shipment. The seller is not required to reimburse supplementary costs resulting from a non-standard, more expensive delivery method chosen by the buyer.
6. The direct costs of returning the goods are borne entirely by the buyer. Shipments returned on a cash-on-delivery basis will not be accepted.
6. Warranty and Claims Procedure
1. The statutory warranty period for consumer buyers is 24 months from the date of receipt of the goods.
2. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and material flaws. It does not cover natural wear and tear, mechanical damage caused by improper handling, exposure to extreme humidity or temperature, or unauthorized alterations.
3. To initiate a warranty claim, the buyer shall contact the seller via email at info@aurainstruments.com with proof of purchase and a description of the defect.
4. Legitimate warranty claims will be processed and resolved within a maximum period of 30 days from the date the claimed goods are delivered to the seller.
7. Uncollected Shipments
If the buyer fails to collect an ordered shipment without valid grounds or prior contract withdrawal, the seller retains the right to claim compensation for actual costs incurred in relation to the attempted delivery and return transit of the package.
8. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
1. If a consumer buyer is not satisfied with the seller's handling of a claim or believes their rights have been infringed, they have the right to request a remedy.
2. If the seller rejects the request or fails to respond within 30 days, the consumer may submit an application for Alternative Dispute Resolution to an authorized ADR entity, such as the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI).
3. Consumers within the European Union can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
9. Personal Data Protection
The processing of personal data necessary for contract execution, billing, and order delivery is carried out in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. Detailed information on personal data handling is available on our dedicated Privacy Policy page.
10. Final Provisions
1. Relations not governed by these Terms and Conditions are subject to the relevant provisions of the Civil Code and Consumer Protection laws of the Slovak Republic.
2. The seller reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. The contract is governed by the version in effect at the time the order is placed.
3. These Terms and Conditions enter into effect on August 10, 2026.
