This authentic look can be achieved through a specific and original shape according to your requirements, or with a special finish that resembles a vintage, retro design.
If you can't tell the difference between a relic and a naturally worn guitar, it is the perfect work of the builder.
The Relic finish, also known as the aging process, ultimately varies like any other custom-designed guitar element. It can range from light discoloration and a few paint scratches to complete stripping of the lacquer and rusted hardware, which is commonly referred to as Heavy Relic.
All components used to build Relic guitars are brand new, despite their aged appearance.
To achieve the desired effect, the Relic finish requires a protective nitrocellulose lacquer.
As with classic instruments, we proceed with the Relic finish according to the customer's requirements and mutual consultation. The buyer can choose the degree of wear and all other desired specifications, such as wood selection, hardware, and electronics.
In our workshop, we use professional components and hardware that will make playing your new instrument easier and which you will certainly appreciate.
